Winsford Gateway

Winsford Gateway is our flagship industrial scheme in Cheshire.

The site is well served by the national motorway networks with junction 18 of the M6 motorway approximately 5 miles away, accessible via the A54.

Originally a joint venture with Build & Thrive (Public Sector Plc and Cheshire West and Chester Council) the JV was set up to deliver infrastructure works and 30 acres of development land with the benefit of grant funding. We purchased the remaining undeveloped land in 2024 and have financed new infrastructure and speculative planning applications to accelerate development.

To date we have delivered; Tiger Trailers HQ 168,000 sq ft, a Petrol Filling Station (The Kay Group) 5,360 sq ft and a self-store unit to The Storage Team, 15,000 sq ft.

Development Status:
  • Terms agreed to deliver a 26,000 sq ft freehold build to suit (BTS) HQ building, due to start in Q3 2025.
  • Planning imminent for WG225 and WG74, a 225,000 sq ft and 74,000 sq ft industrial and logistics unit unlocking much needed supply in the northwest.
  • Currently on site with a Costa Coffee drive thru, due to complete in March 2025.
  • Exchanged contracts for two further drive thru’s with an estimated completion of Q4 2025.
  • Planning granted for WGT, a 17,664 sq ft terrace unit.
